Wassail!

This Saturday 18th January, we will be hosting our 3rd annual Wassail from 12 - 2 pm. Come and join us for this free community event. We will start with some dancing outside the Honeywood Museum (SM5 3NX) at midday before heading to Sutton ecology centre.

There, you can make a leaf headdress, Mari Lwyd mask and a shaker whole listening to our band of musicians and members of Cryerfolk Club.

We will process through the grounds of this lovely space to hear a story from the green man, add wishes for the coming year to the trees, and enjoy a cup of apple juice or mulled cider.

Then, its time to wake the trees with some Wassailing songs and lots of noise - bring your pots and pans and drums!

Finally we will head back to Honeywood Museum  for more dancing and music where you can warm up and join in a dance or two.
